How do I schedule a trip?
To schedule your service first have your insurance card and appointment information ready, then call MAS at this number 1 (866) 753-4442. You may also schedule online at medanswering.com Be sure to ASK for Speedway Transportation.
Can I reserve your service for out of town trips?
Yes. If your healthcare provider determines you need specialty care that is only available outside of your local area, MAS will coordinate transportation services to ensure your needs are met.in these cases, your medical provider will complete a NYS 2020 (Outside Common Medical Area) Form and submit it to MAS. Scheduling with MAS ensures transportation is authorized, per NYSDOH policy, and a covered benefit.
I need to change the time of my trip, do I have to call MAS and reschedule the trip?
No. Just give us a call to let us know.
I need transportation for a multi-day trip. Can you help me?
Your healthcare provider may schedule your multi-day trips for you.
My appointment has been rescheduled to a different day, what do I do?
If your appointment has been rescheduled to a different day, you will need to call MAS and set up a new trip.
My appointment has been cancelled, what do I do?
If your appointment is cancelled or you need to cancel the trip, just give us a call and let us know.
